Our Story
The Matrix Community Outreach Center began as a passion project. It was a vision formed by a small Christian home fellowship that wanted to make a real difference in the lives of those struggling in our community. With no funding and no formal organization, just a shared faith and desire to serve, a handful of volunteers came together to help those in need, offering food, clothing, and support to anyone who walked through their doors.
In the early days, every effort was purely volunteer-driven, relying on the kindness and generosity of those willing to give their time, skills, and hearts to support others. What started as a small act of service quickly grew into something much greater, as more people stepped forward to lend a hand and more lives were touched by the work being done.
Though we have grown, volunteers remain the backbone of Matrix COC. Our mission is still carried forward by those who dedicate their time and energy to making a difference. Below, you’ll find a select group of volunteers & grant funded staff members who have been with us for years or regularly serve with us today. However, we deeply appreciate each and every volunteer, whether listed or not, for their invaluable contributions to our mission.
